Who owns content on Writeroo?

When you create content on Writeroo, it essentially belongs to you. You own the rights to the content you create, and it is up to you to decide how you want to use it. However, by using Writeroo, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable, and transferable license to use, reproduce, distribute, prepare derivative works of, display, and perform the content you create on Writeroo. This license is for the sole purpose of operating, promoting, and improving Writeroo and its services.

In such cases, we will always attribute the content to you, and you will retain the right to remove your content from Writeroo at any time.

Marking your content as copyrighted

If you want to mark your content as copyrighted, you can do so by checking the "Copyrighted" box when creating a story or leaf. This will add a copyright symbol to your content, indicating that you own the rights to it.

Copyright Infringement

If you believe that your work has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, and been posted on Writeroo in any form, please reach out to us at [email protected].

Please note that we reserve the right to remove any content that infringes on the copyrights of others, and we may terminate the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe on the copyrights of others.
